On Mother's Day

My mom is an amazing person.

She is one of the most unselfish people I have ever met.

Her kindness is incredible.

Her patience, abundant.

Her love, unending.

Her talents, plentiful.

She will be the first to forgive you when you have done something wrong.

She will be the last to give up on you, no matter how far you fall.

She will go out of her way to make you feel you belong.

She is the one you want to run to,

to laugh with,

to cry with,

to rejoice, and to be with.

She is mother to more than just her three kids.

An adopter of strays,

Her door is always open, her table always full.

She is a teacher, a mentor, a leader.

She is stronger than you could ever imagine.

A fighter through and through.

Beautiful.

Inside and out.
