To stay cool a few weeks ago we took the kids to our friends' pool and realized at the time that it was Troy's very first time in a pool. Kinda cool. One quick fact about my kids; they LOVE the water. Em has always been that way from the time she was a baby. Whther it is a bath, playing in a pool, or even "washing dishes" in the sink she loves to play in the water. Surprise, surprise, Troy is the same way. Baths do not calm him down before bed. He spends the entire time splashing as much as he can. In fact I usually end up just as wet as they do after bath time. Well swimming went about the same way. Both kids splashed and played until we had to finally drag them out because their lips were blue and their teeth were chattering.
