It seems like not that long ago Emily was just saying her first words and now she is our little chatterbox. She talks non-stop and will repeat a sentence over, and over until you say it to her so she knows you understand. This has made for some frustrating times, but luckily she is very patient with us. My favorite part is that she is now adding her own flair to her vocabulary and will answer the statement, "time to go Emily." With, "how about stay at Ma's house." Or, "You need to finish eating your dinner." And she says, "how about eat cookies." A two year old with negotiating skills. Hmmm. Another Emilyism is the use of the word "way." It is 3am and she cries out so I go in to check on her. As I open the door she sits up and says, "it is WAY dark outside mommy." Yes Emily I know because it is 3AM! It snowed earlier this week and everytime we went outside she would have to tell us, "way cold out here!" Yes she is way too cute.
She is also crazy about hats these days. Yesterday it was a baseball hat on backwards!
