Emily has had so much happening lately between starting school and turning 4 that I feel like she has stolen the spotlight on here a bit. I thought it was time for the little guy to get his turn too.
What has Troy been up to lately? Well, besides stealing tomatoes out of my garden to feed to the chickens.....
He is keeping pretty busy being his usual sweet and charming self. He is still getting by with mainly non-verbal communication but we are hearing (if you can understand him) more words in his vocabulary. Go, bye-bye, here it is, Mama, and Daddy, are the main ones but ruff, ruff is now doggy and Bubba, is Emily. If we make him he can ask for juice or milk, and is very proud of saying cheese whenever he sees any (or when Mommy pulls out her camera).
He can point to all the main body parts and tell you the sounds for most farm animals, but what he is truly best at is playing with his cars. Grandpa brought him in a new car the other day and it was like Christmas in Troy's world. We couldn't even get him to stop playing to eat his favorite breakfast.
He is a goof and loves to make us laugh. His favorite person to entertain though is his sister. He still follows her around like a little shadow, always ready to try what she is doing. It doesn't matter to him that he is smaller and slower he does his best to keep up with her.
At 23 months old he is still as snuggly as ever and will cuddle up with anyone willing. He is great at giving hugs, but still a little stingy with the kisses. We forgive him though, because he is just too cute nt to.
