This Little Man

Troy hits the 11 month mark next week, and we are staring down the final stretch at one year being gone and over.  I am pretty sure it was just a few weeks ago that the little guy climbing the slide, laughing out loud, and chasing the cat was just a newborn in my arms. It goes so fast that I am just doing my best to document everything so that a least I can try and remember these early days.

My little 11-month old is still my snuggly, sweet baby who will cuddle with me anytime I want and gives hugs that melt your heart.

He is easy-going with a little streak of mischief in him. He is a little destroyer who can not stand for blocks to be stacked, laundry to be folded, or shelves to be full. He will make it his mission to un-do them all.

He loves to laugh and will still laugh at anything Emily does.

He would sit and play in the dirt all day, and I would let him except that he proceeds to eat the dirt and rocks, and I can only stand so much of it.

He is crazy at bath-time and thinks water is great for splashing, splashing, and more splashing.

He loves to eat and will eat anything that is put in front of him, (as is evidenced by the before-mentioned dirt).

He is into everything and pulling up on everything, but not walking yet which is fine with us.

He has been saying Dada for awhile but Momma is finally making it into his vocab too.

He is still "Baby Troy" and we will probably have to start changing that soon because he is becoming less and less of a baby, and more and more of a little boy.
