Last weekend we had a joint birthday party for Jules and Emily. The biggest hit was the bounce room we got. We had a hard time getting the girls out of it to eat or open presents. They just wanted to bounce and bounce. 
Emily asked for "happy birthdays" (cupcakes) all day until she finally got hers and then she didn't want to eat it. Present time consisted of Emily opening her first gift (a babydoll) and then not caring about any other gifts because she was too busy play with her baby. The next day she came down stairs and finally saw all the other gifts and was very excited. Overall it was a busy but fun day. We were all sad to see the bounce house go, and decided we would definitely be doing that again for the next party. I don't know how we are going to explain to Em that she doesn't always get two birthdays since her actual birthday isn't for a few weeks. She still is walking around saying "Happy Birthday Emmie."
