A Frisco Weekend

6 adults and three babies under the age of 2 in a two bedroom condo. Who could ask for anything else? We thought we might be a little crazy for subjecting ourselves to this kind of mayhem, but these girls always surprise us. Even the big question of where to put the third one when it was time for them to go to bed, but the parents want to stay up, turned out to be an easy fix. Not to say that they didn't have their meltdowns, and Emily deciding it was time to get up and play at 3:30 am one morning definitely isn't my idea of the perfect vacation, but overall it was a fun time.
Ty and Jody took off to the slopes Saturday morning and Helen and I took the girls out for breakfast which is always a treat! Although we were a little disappointed at the lack of snow it was still fun taking the girls on a hike Saturday afternoon and watching them chase after each other. It is very much like a game of follow the leader. If one decides to climb on the rocks they all have to climb on the rocks. Until of course at some pre-determined moment when they all three run in three different directions and we are chasing them all over. Of course that is why we bring the Dads along!

It was quite an adventure, but it always is with these kiddos. Note to self: next time bring a vacuum, I forgot how much food ends up on the floor at dinner time and we didn't have Sara there to eat it up. Bring less toys, the girls had more fun using the bar stools as a tunnel and playing with the Tupperware in the cupboards than the toys we brought. Bring Advil, it got really noisy in that little condo! Finally, buying 1 dozen of those big yummy cookies from the bakery may have been a little over-the-top, but they sure were good to eat!
