Just 4 days shy of turning 10 months old Emily has taken her very first steps. No more holding on to furniture for this girl she's walking with the big kids now. Granted, it is only four or five steps at a time but she is awfully proud of herself as are her Mommy, Daddy and the rest of her entourage. Maybe it had something to do with that first tooth finally coming in, or maybe it was because of the exciting 4th of july weekend she had, but on Sunday night she looked at her mommy and just started walking to her. This child never ceases to amaze us. So it looks like by the time we head out to SD for our vacation at the end of this month she will be all over the place. Oh Joy! A newly walking baby on a cruise ship? Good thing there will be lots of helping hands around to keep up with her. That's all the news for now, we hope everyone had a great 4th!

WOW! A walking girl at 10 mos. We will see her soon. I will arrive on Aug. 9th. Papa plans to come later. What fun it will be. Will we see you while you are in S.D.?Love to all, G'ma
