Last Sunday we packed up Em's sun hat, a change of clothes, shoes, toys, two jackets, food, snacks, water, the camera, and lots of sun screen and headed for Sky Sox Stadium. That's right, Emily attended her very first baseball game. I definitely had my reservations, we are talking about trying to get a 7 month old who never sits still and only wants to crawl around to sit and watch 9 innings of baseball. She did great and we made it through the 7th inning which is when I start to get squirmy too! The Sky Sox, Colorado's AAA team, played the Rivercats and were ahead 8-2 when we left (for all you sports fans).Emily loves being outside and she spent most of the time looking around at all the people. She was most excited when the fans cheered because she thought they were cheering for her. She would get a huge smile and do her high pitched squeal, which we think is her way of laughing. Her favorite was when she got to sit in her own seat and watch the game. It was all very exciting and fun, especially since her friend Julia was there too. But after a day at the ballpark this little fan slept all the way home and really well that night! Go Sox!!
