Colorado Girl!

Another month has flown by and and this little 8 month old hasn't slowed down for a second. Emily is no longer happy just crawling around, she is now pulling up on everything in sight and walking around (as long as she has something to hold on to) the couch, the table, Mom's legs =). Just a few steps here and there but her little legs get stronger everyday, and we have a sneaking suspicion she may be walking way before a year. Her newest achievement is clapping, after watching her friend Julia clap she decided that she would like to do that also. She is still working at the coordination part of it, but she gets better everyday. My favorite new thing that Emily does is that she has started dancing. We put some music on and her little legs start moving and now and then she even sings along. It is so funny to watch. There will definitely be a video of this on here soon, so stay tuned for that.

When we aren't dancing or practicing walking Emily is outside in the Colorado sun hiking with Mom and Dad. We got a backpack for her to ride in, which she loves, and she has now been on two hikes in it. She fell asleep both times, it must be a comfy ride. Things are certainly moving right along here in Colorado and it is a ride that gets more fun everyday!
