Playing

We have had some really nice weather the last few days and so Emily has had some fun in the sun, on walks with Mom and with her G.G. We also went out on the front grass to play but she didn't like the feel of the dry grass on her legs so she did a little crab walk around the yard. She also loved sitting on our front bench and watching the neighborhood go by.

She is definitely on the move, and she loves to play. Today her friends Julia and Holden came over and the three of them played until they were all played out. They all love to explore the different toys, but it never fails that they always want the toy the other one has. Things always seem a little better when someone else has it. Today the favorite "toy" was the empty plastic eggs from easter. We have toys that sing, and light up. Toys that move, and rattle. There are even toys that bounce, but it is the little plastic eggs that win the prize today and fortunatley there were enough for all three to have one. Life is good when all it takes to make your day is a pink plastic egg!
