Troy | 4 Years Old

Happy Birthday Troy Boy,

           Today you turned 4. You told everyone you saw today that it was your birthday. Even Harvey, who did not respond quite the way you had hoped but that was okay. You are an amazing little boy. You are sweet beyond words. A day does not go by without you making sure everyone around you gets "hugs and kisses." You are thoughtful and kind. You notice little things and will tell me, "you look nice today Mommy." You are so smart. You love puzzles and can build them in no time at all these days. You have a wonderful imagination and spend hours playing with your trucks and cars, or your trains creating stories. You are curious about everything. The other day you "needed" to go under our car so you could see how it worked and what it looked like. You are silly too. You call pizza "pizza pie" and underwear "underpants." You love to make your brother and sister laugh and you, with your wonderful laugh, end up laughing harder than either of them. We make forts every afternoon for movie watching, and you read us Freight Train , your favorite book, every night. Today I watched you in your class, and it was so fun to see you answering questions about the book the teacher was reading and playing with your friends. We are so blessed to be your Mommy and Daddy and treasure spending time with you.  These last 4 years you have taught us so much. You move at your own pace and take the time to notice everything around you. We forget to do that so much of the time that just walking down the street holding your little hand is always a treat. We look forward to so many more birthdays watching you grow up. I know you will have so many adventures and learn so much over this next year. We love you so much Buddy. Happy Birthday!!
