Ft. Collins

A few weeks ago we got to go up to Ft. Collins to see Ty for family night at the Academy. It ended up being a looong drive up there but once we were there it was really fun. We got a tour of the training areas and to eat dinner in the bay (where they park the fire trucks). The recruits (this includes Ty) then put on a demonstration for us that included putting out a building fire, car fire and oil tanker fire. As you can imagine my kids were transfixed the entire time watching the fire burn and then get put out by the fire hoses and firemen. I am pretty sure Troy did not blink through the whole show.
