The snow-like hail that fell a few days ago made it pretty clear that summer has left. Although I do love the beautiful fall colors and cool evenings, it never lasts long enough and too quickly winter is here. I am not ready for those long, cold, stuck inside days quite yet. The kids however were only thinking about puddle splashing and muddy ponds when they went outside, and are gleefully looking forward to snow on the ground. Since there is not much I can do to stop the impending season from coming I guess I will just embrace it and take as many muddy, wet, snowy pictures as I can.
