Little Biggs

How fun it is to be 1! Helen discovered a great new place where the kids (under 18 months) get in free and can play as long as they want. There are slides, a jump room, a little merry-go-round, an indoor sandbox filled with sand toys, and room after room filled with anything and everything a toddler could ever want to play with. Emily could care less that I am even there when she is at Little Biggs. She spends forever going down the slide, and then usually grabs a grocery cart from the play "store" and fills it with lots of plastic food. She always spends a little time looking longingly at the jump room (you have to be 42" to play in it), and after a few more rounds through each room and trying to steal a tricycle from an older kid she usually ends up in the sandbox. This week she had to take a time-out from the sandbox after throwing sand in her friend Julia's hair and knocking down another little boy's sand castle, but she is learning and it is so fun to watch her interacting with so many other kids.
